For those that were able to make it to Pennsic I hope you had a safe and enjoyable War. Thank you to all of the marshals that help make the battles, tourneys, shoots, and throws happen. I am always impressed with the amount of work our Kingdom does.
For armored combat, we are ending the two thrusting tips on single-handed weapons experiment. The test has run over eight months without any serious incident. We are now going to allow single-handed weapons to have both a thrusting tip and a butt spike. As a reminder, there must be 1” of clearance from the basket or other hard surface, padding to be on rattan surface only, and padded like every other thrusting tip. The thrusting tip must be at least 1⁄2” of padding. If your basket hilt has a metal cap you cannot have a thrusting tip on it.
