Warmest winter greetings, my friends –
The new year dawns with new possibilities. I hope everyone enjoyed whatever holidays you celebrate with those dearest to you.
For anyone who holds an office of the seneschal or other office (local or regional), I would like to remind you that you are required to report. Middle Kingdom law Article IX provides the specifications of those required to report. If you do not report and do not provide any information to your superior, you may be removed from your position, and your group could lose its full status.
If you have any questions about the reporting requirements, please review the right side of your Kingdom Officers’ page at midrealm.org. If you still have questions please contact your Baronial or Regional Officer as applicable.
We have also had several Seneschal Office Changes:
I would like to thank Meabh ingen Carthaig for her valued service as Pentamere Regional Seneschal, and to welcome Mistress Artemesia Laycebrayder as the next Pentamere Regional Seneschal.
I would also like to thank Baroness Isibel of Dunbegane for her valued service as North Oaken Regional Seneschal and to welcome Baron Cadwgan Faber as the next North Oaken Regional Seneschal. Additionally, I would like to welcome Thorvald Magnusson as the deputy to the N.O. Regional Seneschal Baron Cadwgan.
I would like to thank Sir Hengist Hawardessune for his valued service as Middle Kingdom Calendar Secretary and to welcome Baron Rue Bryne as the next Middle Kingdom Calendar Secretary. I would also like to welcome Forester Elbrig ingen Eoain as the deputy to Baron Rue, as we work to make the Middle Kingdom Calendar more user friendly. This officer is also moving under the Kingdom Chronicler as the majority of the work is directly with that Office.
I hope everyone stays warm during these winter months.
Yours in service,
Duchess Arabella Silvermane, OP
Seneschal of the Middle Kingdom
