I expect by now that all groups have submitted their Domesdays. Thanks for al your work on that.
It seems there’s a bit of confusion on how to update signatories, make changes to a bank account, or open a new bank account. How to change signatories or open bank accounts:
- Fill out the Bank Account Request Form – available on the SCA.org website in the library of documents under Exchequer.
- All groups must list the kingdom or their regional exchequer as a signatory on bank accounts.
- All fields must be completed.
- All signers must be current members and have no fewer than 60 days left on their memberships.
- If entering a fax number, make sure the fax number is valid and working.
- You must use your legal name and the legal names of all signatories.
- Send all requests for bank accounts to the Kingdom Exchequer.
- Kingdom Exchequer will verify all information and forward your request to the Society Exchequer for processing.
- The Society Exchequer will verify the completeness and accuracy of your information and forward it to the SCA Corporate Office.
- Once the Corporate Office has processed the request, they will email the bank representative to provide permission to make the change/open a new account and the local exchequer will be copied on the email.
- The local exchequer can then start working with the bank to update signatories or open the new account.
In short, please wait for the email from Corporate before making changes to a bank account.
