St. Clare “Lite” (Aethelmearc)

Since 2016, embroidery-lovers have created a community that extends to 6 Kingdoms … and beyond!

This year, in lieu of a weekend-long All-Embroidery Slumber Party, the Shire of Abhainn Ciach Ghlais will host a one-day event — St. Clare “Lite” — on Saturday, April 15

We invite you to join us at Trinity Lutheran Church (120 South Main St, Hughesville, PA 17737) as we enjoy this opportunity to gather, share, and drool! The site opens at 9 AM and closes at 6 PM.

St. Clare “Lite” will offer
— an all-day Embroidery Display
— a Keynote speaker
— morning and afternoon classes
— a Stitching Solar for those who prefer to bring a project to work on
— a simple sideboard lunch
— mid-afternoon tea

Thanks to the generosity of members of the St. Clare community, this event will be FREE to the first 50 registrants!

Attendance will be capped at 50. After that, we will start a waiting list.

Interested in attending? Register SOON!

A link to the classes being offered can be found on the Registration Form. Sign up when you arrive on site for the classes you would like to attend.

Please email Mistress Filipia Caprioti at [email protected] if you are interested in teaching.

Closer to the event date, we will email the lunch menu to all attendees. Our Hospitality Table, with hot beverages and nibbles, will be available throughout the day. Those with dietary restrictions are welcome to bring their own lunch and sweets for tea.

Your comfort and well-being matter to us!

We will follow all MANDATORY COVIDSafe policies of the SCA, Inc, in place at the time of the event.

At the request of AEthelmearc’s DEI Officer, Corsi-Rosenthal Box air filters will be in use in the 2 main gathering rooms during the event.

In addition:
– Masks will be available at the door.
– If an instructor requests that you mask during their class, we ask that you respect their wishes.
– If you aren’t feeling well the morning of the event, please stay home!
